- With new HIPAA requirements
and with the electronic transfer of sensitive patient information
imminent, security is a top priority at AllScribe. AllScribe utilizes
the latest security solutions to link AllScribe Transcriptionists,
hospital and physicians practices securely.
- AllScribe adds additional
levels of security by providing digital certificate authentication
to our website for document retrieval and an encrypted e-mail
solution that uses a 128-bit encryption algorithm for those users
that prefer email delivery. The combination of these solutions
create private, encrypted connections through the internet for
secure transfer of confidential patient data
- Procedures and protocols
are implemented at AllScribe's facility throughout the processing
phase to assure that all work is completed, and all documentation
is tracked and accounted for.
- AllScribe has a two
level two (2) time daily backup. All data is backed up two times
per day at the facility, first to a backup server, second to a
CD and stored in a secure location under management control.
